Facebook marketing might be considered as an essential thing to do especially if you are running an online business or blog, but to be honest, it is not that much easy to do, especially for bloggers. In addition, if not done correctly, then all your hard work and valuable time will be wasted, so it’s better that you start learning it properly now than repenting later.
Many of us who are bloggers think that just by sharing the articles on our profile page or on our blog’s page at Facebook would do the thing and would result in huge traffic to our blog articles, but if you have a look carefully at your blog’s analytics then you will find that there’s hardly any traffic from Facebook to your blog unless your blog’s niche is exceptionally attractive.
So, this should be resolved but how, there has to be a solution for this. Well I am here to explain how to pull good traffic from Facebook to your blog’s articles, but before that let me explain why many bloggers fail to fetch traffic from Facebook.
Your Presentation is not good enough

One of the key factors in getting visits from Facebook to your blog’s articles is the presentation. It depends on how you present the article to everyone at Facebook. If you are not going to present your articles in a good and attractive form, then there is hardly any chance that people will actually click on your shared link.
As you might remember from the movie “The Social Network” that Facebook is like taking the whole social experience if college online. Facebook is a place where people want to be social, they want to have a talk with their friends check out what they are doing. People do not want to see business promotions unless they are cool.
For example if you stand in the middle of your college campus and try to sell your products by screaming your product’s name, then there is hardly any chance that people will actually buy it. But if you present it in an attractive way then there is a good chance that people will go for it.
The same goes for Facebook, as you can see that if you provide a link with the title of your post and a thumbnail then people will to some extent ignore it, as they are seeing many of such posts on Facebook every time they hit refresh.
People go online on Facebook to be social with their friends, and not to see your articles filling up the news feed. Therefore, a good presentation is extremely necessary for making people on Facebook actually click on your shared link and read your article on your blog.
In the later part of this article, you will be finding a solution to this problem and you will be learning how to tackle this situation.
People don’t want to leave Facebook for your Article

We all know that Facebook is addictive, and we just do not want to leave the environment once we get into it, so if you think that way, one question should have struck your mind. Why people will go out of Facebook for seeing my post?
Believe me this is one of the main reasons that you are not drawing any or a good amount of traffic from Facebook to your blog. It is true that people will not leave the environment of Facebook to read your blog posts unless it is worth it or unless it looks cool to them.
Like I said in the a few paragraphs before, presentation is the key to getting good amount of traffic from Facebook, and adding to it, a good and interesting topic is equally important for making people go out of Facebook and read your post.
For example, if you are sharing something like “Learn SEO in 7 days” along with “Be Popular in just 7 Days”, then I bet that the second link will fetch more traffic than the first one. If you see carefully both links might be interpreted in the same way, but the second one will look catchier to any people and will result in higher conversions.
Similarly, “Apple and Samsung’s legal battle heats up” might seem much more interesting to a group of people than “Samsung launches new smartphone”, and thus may fetch you more visitors.
Therefore, what you need to do is that to share something that will look appealing to the people and will make them leave Facebook for a while to read your post, and you will be learning how to do it in the next few paragraphs.
A Wonderful Solution

After reading all these you might feel a little disappointed and want a good solution to this problem, well I would say that if you know how to do marketing on Facebook properly then there’s no one to snatch the traffic you deserve from you.
Solution 1: This is the solution to the first problem we have discussed, the presentation part. To make your existing posts interesting you will need to present it in a good way. Do not just leave the title of your post unless it’s very much catchy, and share your link, that might ruin your work.
Think creatively about how you can make your existing post titles catchy, think like a salesperson who would make the customer feel interested in buying a product by his presentation. For example, you can share a link with this title ”Google says welcome to the future with Google Glasses” rather than “Google introduces Google Glasses” , as you can see the first one seems more interesting to a wider range of audience.
Whenever you are marketing on Facebook your primary aim should be on making people understand your point clearly, without having much knowledge about the topic that you are sharing.
Another tip that I can provide is that to attach a big size picture representing your blog article followed by a link to your article. You will be amazed by how much more traffic this trick can draw. An example of this trick is shown below,
Solution 2: This is the solution to the second problem, the one with the attractive niche. As I have said, having a good niche always helps, as people might be interested in your post if that lies to a niche of their interest.
But this is a subjective matter, and controlling it is somewhat difficult, as you can if you have a 6 months old blog with a fair amount of readers then it’s very unlikely that you want to change your niche for getting good traffic to your blog.
However, you can do, is to follow the previous solution to make your niche look interesting and appealing to people out there on Facebook without even changing your niche.
And for other who have a blog based on an interesting and popular niche, you should be utilizing it, by using the previous solution as well, so that you can draw the maximum number of traffic from Facebook to your blog post.
This brings me to be end of the article and I hope by now you have learnt how to tackle these problems when marketing your blog in Facebook, and will surely have a blast of traffic from Facebook by following the solutions provided. I would love to have your views regarding these, and you can let me know if you have any more solutions to these problems that you have tried and worked. Best of luck with Facebook marketing, do leave your queries and comments below.
