Now, we are in the fourth and the last installment of this series. We previously planned to make it to 3 parts, but due to readers and some of my fellow bloggers request, we finally decided to add the fourth installment to it. But we thought, not to make it focus on a single topic but to create a mash-up, all over. In this article, we will be discussing at random, about some of the SEO tools that we missed in all the three installments before this one.
It will be having, WordPress plugins, Chrome extensions, Web Applications and Softwares, all in one article. I actually missed some of these tools in my previous installments of the series, so thought to put them all up in this article. I have personally used all the tools that I have mentioned and will be mentioning today.
1) Easy WP SEO
When it comes to on-page SEO on WordPress, then Easy WP SEO should come to the first choice. Personally, I have used both SEOPressor and Easy WP SEO, and according to me, Easy WP SEO beats SEOPressor by far. It will calculate the Keyword Density of your primary and LSI keywords, quite accurately. So, all you need to do, is just listen to what it tells you and guides you through. The thing that I mostly like about this plugin, is the LSI Keywords feature. It is the only plugin, that focuses on the proper use of LSI keywords to optimize your article.
It has other loads of important features like, Keyword Decoration with bold, italics or underline. It automatically adds rel=”nofollow” to all your external links so that your link juice doesn’t pass unnecessarily. You can explicitly make any external links as “dofollow” according to your wish. The score it gives, is quite accurate and if you don’t understand much about on-page SEO, then this plugin is a must-have.
Just follow what it guides you to do and try to maintain the score around 75-80%. Don’t try to make it above 90-95% as over-optimization is never liked by Google and Google will frown on you for it.
2) Simple 301 Redirects
As the name itself suggests, Simple 301 Redirects is a very simple plugin. There are not too many options to deal here. Just put the source and the destination URL and leave the rest for it to do.
Redirection is very important and is a must need for any blog or website. There are lots of situations where you need to have some new or improved pages on your blog and discard the old pages. But deleting the old pages is not a smart solution, as you may have lots of visitor’s visiting those page for a long time. Deleting those pages will make you loose lots of visitors. So, the best solution is a redirection.
But there are different types of redirection available but 301 is the best and the smartest solution. Not only the visitors will be redirected to the new URL, but also full or partial link juice will be transferred from the old URL to the new one. So, if you have worked hard in building links to a particular page, then you do not need to worry even a bit as the link juice that got accumulated on that old page will now be transferred to the new one.
3) SEO for Chrome
It is an another all-in-one complete Chrome extensions to meet all your SEO demands. Just click on the nice “SEO” icon on the toolbar and it will show you all necessary SEO parameters in a simple and clean interface. Parameters like Pages Indexed, Backlinks, Traffic Information’s are really very important and helpful. The thing that I like the most about this extension, is that, it shows you data not only from a single source but from multiple sources.
It gathers, data from multiple sources like Google, Bing, Yahoo, SEOmoz, SEMRush, Alexa, Compete and shows it to you, all in a single clean interface. But sometimes, it misses to connect properly with all the data sources and misses to show you some data. But that is tolerable and it doesn’t happen quite often.
It is a must use tool for every SEO experts and bloggers. It is a complete and hassle-free solution to have a quick peek at all the SEO parameters in a single page.
4) SEMRush
SEMRush is one of the best and one of my most favorite SEO tool, that I use quite often. Just put any keyword or any URL in the search box, and it will provide you with all SEO information you need for a perfect research. It will estimate the amount of Organic Traffic you get, and I can assure you that they are not too wrong.
It will find all those keywords that a particular site is ranking for in Google. This is really a very important feature that it provides. You can have a clear idea of the keywords that your competitor’s are ranking for, so that you can plan your SEO strategy in a better way. It will also give an awesome Backlink Report, where it will show you every possible site from you or your competitor have collected link from. If you know this, then you can improvise your techniques to build better backlinks from better sources than your competitor.
The Keyword Research tool is also awesome. Just put in your keyword and it will find every possible information like Search Volume, CPC, etc, about that keyword for you.
5) Market Samurai
It is an another complete SEO solution for you. It has a powerful Rank Tracker that will automatically track the ranks of all your keywords in realtime, so that you do not need to worry about your progress. It will show you the winners and the losers in the ranks. The Keyword Research tool is also fantastic. It will find out which keyword is right for you. Keyword Research is the first and the foremost step in SEO, and getting it wrong can mess all your SEO efforts.
The Backlink Analysis tool is also a very important and powerful tool. It will find out all possible backlink information of your competitors, so that you can work on improving your SEO strategies and and beat competition. I previously used to use this software for months, then I switched to Traffic Travis. Both of them are quite similar in what they do, but still Traffic Travis won my heart.

Dont you think All in one SEO plugin is much better for on page?
Beucase its easy to use and also user freindly.
Thanks
No. I always consider SEO by Yoast to be the best SEO plugin. I never recommend anyone to use All-in One SEO plugin. It may be easy, but it lacks most of the important SEO factors in it. Many people who are new to SEO tend to use it, but you will later pay the price of using it as you are going to miss many important SEO factors in your site and keep many loopholes open.

EasyWPSEO is must for every site but I don’t think that everyone should buy market samurai instead Google Keyword Tool will be a great choice.

Yes, you are definitely correct. Google Keyword Tool is enough for keyword research and the most important thing is that it is free always. But Market Samurai is a great choice as a complete SEO package.

I agree that SEO by Yoast is the best SEO plugin. It helps take care of URLs, Title Tags, and Meta Descriptions, which is most important for SEO when it comes to keyword optimization.
I will have to give Market Samurai a shot. Looks interesting.
