8 Blogs on Blogging to Read in Summer 2012

Blogging is probably the holy grail of online businesses of today. I mean, apart from all the personal blogs (thousands of them, actually) there are also semi-professional, or professional blogs, run by people who aim at making full-time income out of their sites.

If you’re reading this, chances are that for some reason you are interested in blogging. No matter if it’s a hobby or a professional interest, or anything in between. So especially for you, here’s a list of 8 great sites publishing regular posts about blogging itself. Use it for inspiration, advice, education, or anything else you find useful.

How To Make My Blog

The site’s been created by Marko Saric – a young social media and blogging enthusiast from Denmark. I think the name of this blog gives a good indication of what you can find there, so let me just briefly say that Marko publishes advice and tutorials on how to take care of different tasks related to starting a blog and then running it successfully.

DailyBlogTips

DailyBlogTips is one of the most recognizable blogs about blogging. It’s run by Daniel Scocco, who’s been sharing various blogging tips since November 2006. Right now, the site features one instructional blog post every day and quite a lot of guest posts.

DailyWritingTips

This is another project by Daniel Scocco (it even uses the same theme as DailyBlogTips). This has been running since May 2007, and it focuses more on the technical side of writing than motivational or inspirational aspects of being a blogger. Very useful for improving your grammar and style of writing.

Goins, Writer

This blog isn’t exactly about blogging. But it is about writing (a necessary skill for every blogger) and being a writer. Jeff – the author of the blog – shares his advice on how to make a living as a writer, how to improve your writing, and how to deal with other challenges of this line of career.

ShoutMeLoud

ShoutMeLoud is about how you can use your blog to make money. It covers various aspects of internet marketing, social media, and other topics related to blog promotion. However, you can also find advice on the technical side of things, like: SEO and using various apps to help you blog.

Income Diary

The title of this site doesn’t indicate that it might indeed by about blogging. However, this is a great site for all sorts of “make money blogging” advice. Michael – the author of the blog – has been making money using various techniques for a number of years now, despite his young age. He surely is an interesting person to learn from.

Inbound Pro

This site presents blogging as an online business model. It covers various aspects of running a blog business that will surely come handy even for bloggers who are only in this as a hobby. You’ll find info on how to write blog content, how to increase your traffic, how to build authority, and finally how to get paid along the way.

Carl Ocab

Also known as the Kidblogger. At the time of writing this, Carl is 18 years old. And his story is even more impressive when you take a look at his career as an online entrepreneur. He started making money online when he was only 14. And what about his blogging skills, you ask? Here’s what Jack Humphrey had to say: “I am reasonably sure that this 14 year old kid from the Philippines blogs better than you do.” Do you need more reasons to check his blog out?

This concludes my list of 8 great sites for bloggers and blog business owners. Do you know of any other blogs that would look good on this list? Feel free to share.

Really very useful blogs with very nice informative post. But tell me one thing why are you promoting these blogs on your website. Are you promoting your blog or theirs.

First of all thanks a lot for your appreciation. And secondly, no, not at all mate. If we do this, then this will be like Link Trading, and this is Black Hat SEO, that we avoid at any case. This aricle has been written by a guest author for our site. It is just a showcase article featuring few nice blogs to catch up this summer.
